What I Do

I provide information about how to apply for a child-care license or register to care for children in a home or a center. I rotate on the “intake” phone lines. I enter applications into the system and perform central registry checks for reports. I enter data into the system to run criminal-history checks on staff, applicants and owners at day care facilities. I am the timekeeper, minute-taker and translator for documents from English into Spanish for my unit.
